In October 1999, ABP Makina was established under the name Akskom Makina. The company began its first operations in a 350 m² workshop in İzmir, taking its initial step into the industry by starting the production of grain handling equipment using second-hand machinery purchased from İzmir Külçe Makina.
The production process was initiated by two experienced masters who had separated from a subcontracted manufacturing company. Their extensive expertise and skills played a crucial role in the growth of the business.
The increase in workload led to the acquisition of a second workshop in 2001. Along with this new space, Abkant press, guillotine shear, and plasma cutting machines were added to the company’s production capabilities.
In 2003, marking a new beginning, the company name ABP Makina began to gain recognition. By 2005, the company had grown significantly and started operating in a 1,200 m² factory in the Çiğli district of İzmir.
Over the years, the company expanded its capacity and equipment, continuing its operations in the Akhisar Organized Industrial Zone in 2007, where it broke sales records. In 2012, a new facility was built, and with new masters, advanced equipment, and an expanded workforce, the company greatly widened its operational scope.
In line with strategic decisions, in 2014 the company continued its operations under the new name ABP TDS (Transport and Storage Systems).
As of 2016, our company entered the energy sector and began producing all welded and non-welded internal and external components of wind turbines made from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum for major global companies that operate across multiple sectors and lead the energy industry.
